Our Process

step one

Discovery/ Introduction Meeting

We want to learn about your business and figure out what the best strategy is to support your future goals.

Our discovery meeting process is designed to understand your current benefits situation and explore how your company can potentially add value. This process involves analyzing the existing benefits offerings, assessing their effectiveness, identifying any gaps or areas for improvement.

step two

Analysis

At this stage we are gathering information to assess current plan design to determine if a change is necessary for optimal coverage and savings.

Data Collection: Gathering relevant data related to the group benefits program, which may include information such as employee demographics, utilization of benefits, claims data, cost data, and feedback from employees.

Data Analysis: Using statistical and analytical techniques to examine the collected data, identify patterns, trends, and correlations. This analysis helps in understanding how the benefits program is being utilized, where there may be inefficiencies or areas for improvement, and what factors are influencing costs and employee satisfaction.

Benchmarking: Comparing the performance of the company's benefits program against industry benchmarks or peer organizations. This helps in understanding how competitive the benefits package is and identifying opportunities to enhance it to attract and retain talent.

Predictive Modeling: Employing predictive analytics to forecast future trends and outcomes related to the benefits program. This may include predicting future costs, identifying potential health risks among employees, or forecasting changes in benefits utilization.

Strategic Recommendations: Based on the insights derived from the analysis, providing strategic recommendations for optimizing the group benefits program. These recommendations may include adjustments to benefit offerings, changes in plan design, cost-saving measures, wellness initiatives, or communication strategies.

step four

Monitoring and Optimization

We are proactively monitoring your group throughout the year, by sending financial experience reports, audits, 9-month check ins and plan administration check ins.

Ongoing education and support through our quarterly newsletter and quality customer service.

step five

Renewal/ Ongoing Optimization

Evaluate and negotiate renewal options to ensure your benefits plan remains competitive and cost-effective. Do we need to make changes for the stability of the plan?

When we receive your renewal from the insurance carrier, we run the claims experience through our renewal calculators. This gives us an idea of where the numbers should be for your renewal and then we can negotiate to what we feel is fair in relation to what the claims experience is. We review how the plan has been running through the year and if changes need to be made to plan design. We review important news pertaining to group benefits.
